The sounds and images of this film reflect the nervous mind of Joanna, a Swedish 18-year old. Her ADHD should be controlled by medication, but that’s a problem as her father is out of money. Totally awkward, especially as she develops warm feelings for Audrey, and those feelings are mutual.
With many hilariously painful moments we are drawn into her whirlwind life. Will she manage to earn some money? Even when a few moral limits will have to be broken?
A lighthearted, refreshing coming-of-age story.
