Nicky (Luke Evens) and Gabriel (Billy Porter) and their son have been the perfect family picture for years. Nicky devotes all his time to his career. And Gabriel deals with the household and raising their son. But when cracks appear in the relationship, Gabriel wants a divorce. This leads to a custody battle that forces them both to face the changing realities of their love for each other and for their son.
Like a modern-day gay Kramer vs. Kramer, we follow both fathers in their struggles with each other but more importantly with themselves.
