Laura (16) and her younger sisters form a messy household. Their mother is gone, so they have to manage without her. They get by quite well. In complete freedom and with the occasional shoplifting, Laura manages to keep the household going. But when social services demands a meeting with the mother, Laura needs to find a unorthodox solution. To intensify the chaos, she also falls madly in love.
Independence and despair alternate in this beautifully acted coming-of-age story.
