When young university lecturer Green and her longtime girlfriend are kicked out of their accommodation, they are forced to move back in with Green’s mother. The mother works as carer for a once-famous woman who is slipping ever deeper into Alzheimer’s without any family of her own. Fearing the same fate, the mother tries to ignore her daughter’s sexuality, hoping it will be “just a phase” - until one day she rebels against the caring home’s strict policies, and needs the help of both Green and her girlfriend.
Touching drama - based on the novel of the same name - about these women’s struggle across generations, and a call for solidarity and love.
