Doing your job as a school teacher in a working-class French neighborhood can be difficult enough. Yet Julien seems to manage to build a rapport with his students. However, his private and professional life are turned upside down when one of the girls accuses him of sexual abuse. In no time, the entire school gets involved. Julien is determined to clear his name. This could easily be done if he reveals something about his private life, but he wants to keep hidden at all costs that he is in a relationship with a man.
