Joseph and Sonya are close friends who are raising their young son Pino together. When Sonya checks herself into a clinic to recover from depression, Joseph is forced to juggle parenting, his artistic ambitions, and romantic possibilities, while struggling to move on from the breakup with his ex-boyfriend.

The film makes us realize that humor can be found everywhere, even in the saddest situations.
