A young writer takes his exploration of escort work a bit too far

Struggling as a young aspiring writer in London, Max forges a new identity for himself in the form of a ravenous sex worker: Sebastian. He meets men via an escort platform and uses his experiences as inspiration for his writing, but his double life becomes increasingly risky. A thoughtful, compelling investigation of the importance of queer identities and how they shape us.

With his second feature film, the Finnish/British writer and director Mikko Mäkelä (A Moment in the Reeds, RFD 2018) takes an unflinching look into the complex nuances of sex work and its transformational power.
