QUEER FILM CONFESSIONS

In this online video series presenter Annefleur Schipper chats with well-known queer role models from media, sports and the movie industry – guided by their favourite tv-and film clips – about their 'gay awakening'.

Which movies or tv shows made them understand their identity better? And what fragments awoke something 'queer' in them? The series consists of nine episodes, each focusing on one role model. As these people from different generations tell about their experiences, we get an in-depth view on the diversity of queerness in the Netherlands, in relation to images.
