Queer artists have long found creative ways to carve out space and make a living in a world that often fails to support them. Through performance, reinvention, or resilience, they navigate the fine line between survival and self-expression. What sacrifices must be made to thrive? Where does artistry end and commodification begin?
Having just returned to São Paulo after a stint in juvenile prison, Wellington discovers his parents have disappeared. While unsure of his next step, he encounters Ronaldo, an older hustler. The two embark on a fluid, passionate and caring relationship, allowing Wellington to experience different sides of hustling life as well as redefining what ‘family’ means to him.

There is also a side program with an exhibition, VR, podcasts, online talk shows and more. The 28th edition of Pink Film Days will take place from Wednesday, March 19 to Sunday, March 30, 2025 in Het Ketelhuis in Amsterdam.
