Submissions Roze Filmdagen 2027 now open
Are you the maker of a short film, feature film or animation with an LGBTQ+ theme? Now’s your chance! Submit your work for consideration for the 30th edition of Roze Filmdagen.
Roze Filmdagen is the longest-running and largest LGBTQ+ film festival in the Netherlands. We are currently preparing for our 30th edition, taking place from 10 to 21 March 2027.
For twelve days, we will present an extensive programme of LGBTQ+ cinema at Het Ketelhuis, located at Westergas in Amsterdam. Screenings will also take place across the street at De Krakeling, a theatre that will be specially transformed into a cinema for the duration of the festival.
We present a selection of the best LGBTQ+ films from around the world, from romantic comedies and thought-provoking documentaries to distinctive dramas and everything in between. For many years, we have also placed a special focus on short films. Our short film selections are internationally recognised and screened throughout the LGBTQ+ film festival circuit.
Roze Filmdagen started out small and underground but has grown significantly over the years. For our upcoming edition, we once again expect to welcome more than 10,000 visitors, who can choose from over 140 feature films, short films and documentaries from around 40 countries, presented across approximately 135 screenings.
