About the film:
François and Julie have been together for 16 years and are parents of two children, but their sexual connection has faded. They decide to open up their relationship and rediscover themselves through new adventures across the sexual spectrum. What begins as a well-intentioned search—experimenting with new partners and swinger apps—soon turns into an emotional rollercoaster filled with misunderstanding, doubt, and jealousy.

It is 1937, and in Czechoslovakia a brand-new industrial city is being built from the ground up. The future seems bright for Helena, the pregnant wife of the factory director. When The Rocky Horror Picture Show first appeared on stage in 1973, no one could have imagined the lasting impact and legacy the subversive rock musical would have on queer and underground film communities. The film adaptation of the stage production was released 50 years ago, and for many people it became a formative cultural touchstone.
All the more reason to invite the original cast, creatives, and other figures from pop culture to reflect on the cult classic. The documentary features personal stories from creator Richard O'Brien, stars such as Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon, and contemporary icons including Trixie Mattel.
Directed by the son of the show’s creator, the documentary is a love letter to a project that has offered a safe haven for outcasts for decades—and that still inspires audiences around the world to do the “Time Warp.”
