Roze Filmdagen is looking for an intern
Roze Filmdagen is the largest and longest-running LGBTQ+ film festival in the Netherlands.
Since 1996, the festival has been showing the best national and international films within the LGBTQ+ community.
From 19 to 30 March 2025, the Ketelhuis in the Westerpark in Amsterdam will be the setting for the 28th edition of the festival.
The mission of Roze Filmdagen is clear: to broaden and deepen the view of the (LGBTQ+) world by programming
the most diverse range of films, documentaries, short films, and a side program with talk shows,
exhibitions and online content, often made by LGBTQ+ people themselves.
The Roze Filmdagen team consists of three members (artistic director, business manager and a marketing and communications employee).
In the run-up to the festival, this is supplemented with a festival producer and education employee, volunteers and others...
During your internship, you will become part of an ever-growing team with different expertise to learn from.
Roze Filmdagen, the largest LGBTQ+ film festival in the Netherlands, is looking for an intern for the period january - march 2025
This is what you will do:
- Working on marketing and communication plans and their implementation
- You help create content for social media and take on the role of moderator
- You contribute to the production and the ins and outs of a large-scale festival
- You help with common production activities

What we expect from you:
- Affinity with the queer community
- A real team player mentality
- A smooth pen and a good sense of language for both short messages (social media) and longer texts (articles)
- A good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of the Adobe programs InDesign and Illustrator
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a plus
- Availability from January to the end of March
- You are reasonably stress-resistant but are also good at indicating your boundaries, you identify bottlenecks and think in solutions
