The birth of their first child presents a young couple with a moral turning point. When it turns out their baby is intersex, they each follow different paths, driven by the same question: what is best for their child?
One parent clings to medical certainty and advocates for early surgery, while the other listens to the voices of intersex people and chooses to wait and respect their bodies. As the distance between them grows, so does the weight of their choice.
